Our New Woodland Classroom

Exciting News : Our Growing School
In 1879 Wimboldsley Primary School opened on our current site. It was a very small school comprising of the current Horse Chestnut classroom and the School Hall. Now 140 years later our school has grown in size and popularity. With 5 classes now present and a strong Federation partnership with William Stockton the time has come to provide additional learning space. Therefore, the School Governors have decided that Wimboldsley will be having a new classroom installed in the school grounds over the coming months, this is a joint project across both the federated schools. Willow class have been informed of the proposal so they can be part of the planning and design, as this will be their new classroom, and we are hopeful that it will be ready for opening at Easter. We would love to involve the community in the project and fundraising for the children's designs inside the classroom, we would welcome your support with this. Further updates will be provided in due course.
